Step by step
Follow the safe route

Choose Bills, letters & appointments during Capture.
- 2
Select the closest document type and save the complete original image or PDF.
- 3
Wait for live OCR to read the document, then open Scan Review.
- 4
Compare the full stored text and any suggested date, action, phone number, email address or website with the original document.

Correct the due or event time and choose when you want to be reminded.

Select Confirm and create reminder. Dismissing a suggestion creates no reminder and does not delete the document.

Use Call, Open email draft or Open website only after checking the contact detail against the original. Capshur never sends or calls automatically.

Snooze, complete, export a calendar file or deliberately share a reminder with a trusted helper from Personal Admin.
Helpful tips
- Use the original PDF from an email or portal when available.
- For appointments, check the date, time, location, cancellation instructions and any arrival instructions directly on the letter.
- An email action opens a draft in your own email app. You remain responsible for checking and sending it.
- Personal Admin documents remain private and outside ordinary workplace review.
Important boundaries
- Capshur never creates a reminder silently from OCR and never contacts an organisation automatically.
- Hospital and medical letters are organised only. Capshur does not diagnose, interpret medical advice or replace instructions from a healthcare professional.
- A reminder is an organisational aid. The original bill, letter or appointment instruction remains the source of truth.
Questions people ask
Will Capshur automatically create reminders from bills or hospital letters?
No. Capshur may suggest a date or action after OCR, but the user must check the original, confirm the due or event time and choose the reminder time. Medical documents are organised, not medically interpreted.
Can Capshur call or email a clinic for me?
Capshur can extract a possible phone number, email address, website or reference and provide a large action button. A phone action opens your dialler and an email action opens a draft in your own mail app. Nothing is called, sent or cancelled automatically, and you must check the detail against the original letter.
How can a personal reminder reach me?
In-app alerts are available while Capshur is open. Optional email reminders require platform email configuration and your explicit opt-in. You can also download a calendar file, snooze a reminder or share a chosen reminder with a trusted Capshur user.
