Step by step

Follow the safe route

  1. 1

Open Capture and choose Upload a file.

  2. 2

Select a clear JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF containing the complete document.

  3. 3

Choose whether the evidence belongs to Work, My Business or Personal.

  4. 4

Add the real proof date and any known purpose or category.

  5. 5

Save the file. Capshur stores the original privately, creates a scan job and sends extracted suggestions to review.

Helpful tips

  • Download an emailed receipt as its original PDF where possible instead of taking a screenshot.
  • One PDF may contain several pages. Check every page before upload.
  • Use descriptive notes when the supplier name on the receipt is unclear.

Important boundaries

  • When OCR mode is set to mock, the workflow is tested but the document pixels are not genuinely read. Real extraction requires the live OCR provider.

Questions people ask

Will an uploaded receipt be scanned for information?

Yes. Camera captures, manual photos and uploaded images or PDFs enter the same scan queue. In live OCR mode, Capshur extracts suggestions from the document. In mock mode, it tests workflow only and does not read the pixels.
